“Wow, where to start! I cancelled my initial estimate with Cory Hynes, but he called back the next afternoon and convinced me it wouldn’t hurt to just let him do an estimate. He showed up on time and really put me at ease. He went over the estimate top to bottom and explained everything. I was really impressed. With finances being so tight I was going to postpone painting, but Cory sold me on Vivax. Then when I had a family emergency and was gone for a couple weeks, I called Cory and he assured me that my estimate would be honored for up to a year. “We are so happy with our paint job. It looks great! Dustin is so calm and is quick to fix any problems that came about. He is very good at his job! Two of our neighbors (the Orner’s and the Lancaster’s) opted to go with “a different company” instead of Vivax. The Orner’s stopped by and ‘checked out’ our paint job. The Oner’s said that “we got a better job than they did.” They also mentioned that they had a ‘very difficult’ time getting what was promised. I’m not surprised. The “other company” was the lowest estimate, but I saw what a good job Vivax did when I checked references, and I knew we had made a good choice. Sometimes, price is not the most important thing – and clearly, they got exactly what they paid for . . . . poor quality at a low price! Please let Travis know, I think he will get a kick out of it. “We had a great experience with Vivax. VERY affordable, highly communicative, and professional. Scheduling took a couple of tries, but when your business is affected by the weather, this can happen. The estimator was fantastic. Very approachable and straighforward. Very clear and no hard sell on anything. Project Manager was a little off putting when we met with him the first time…but I think he might have been a little intimidated by the house. We have a 102 year old brick bungalow in Congress Park. Four colors, lots of detail. Fussy. Not sure the estimator had clearly communicated that to him.

But they did a terrific job with it! There were a few punchlist / touch up items they needed to fix but that was to be expected.

What’s more, we had the work done entirely while we were out of town (which we highly recommend!) our neighbors all commented on how professional, fast, and nice the guys were.

Vivax Pro painted the interior of our home in the spring of 2009…and because I was so enthusiastic with the outcome, I contracted to have them refinish our large redwood deck late in the summer.
